Welcome to St. Therese English Medium School Ayamkudy!

We provide a holistic education from KinderGarten to Year 10. The broad programme we offer, both inside and outside the classroom, provides more than just academic excellence and creates opportunities to support each child maximize their potential. For us, the aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think – rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men.

Our Activities

St. Therese Public School conducts a number of programmes to promote the full blossoming of children’s talents and skills. The school uses its well designed frameworks and facilities to enhance its education programme. The school has an open-door policy which helps instill a strong community atmosphere within the campus. We as a school community work and play together in a safe, friendly and truly comfortable environment. We provide bodily development like sports and games, drill; self-expression like elocution, dramatics, musical concert; socially useful productive work like gardening, book-binding, needlework, cleaning school premises; hobbies like drawing, painting, craft, stamp collection, intellectual development like quiz, debate etc.

Cocurricular Activities

St.Therese Our Patroness

THÉRÈSE MARTIN was born at Alençon, France on 2 January 1873. Two days later, she was baptized Marie Frances Thérèse at Notre Dame Church. Her parents were Louis Martin and Zélie Guérin. After the death of her mother on 28 August 1877, Thérèse and her family moved to Lisieux.

Saint Thérèse is known as the Saint of the Little Ways, meaning she believed in doing the little things in life well and with great love. She is represented by roses. May everyone who receives this message be blessed. “You know well enough that Our Lord does not look so much at the greatness of our actions, nor even at their difficulty, but at the love with which we do them.”
